Johan Woest

I grew up on a small holding in Muldersdrift area. They call it the circle of life, for a reason. I’m back living on a small holding in the Muldersdrift area, 55 years later. And loving it! During my career in the Financial Services Industry, I was introduced to a marketplace ministry called CBMC. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for one-on-one discipleship/mentorship. I served on National and International leadership within CBMC and learned a lot on keeping the main thing the main thing. I’m currently involved at The Character Company, a long-term mentorship program for boys growing up without a father and Yenzokuhle Training and Development Group. Someone said, “If you build a family, you are building something that’s eternal”. I’m also still building a family with my wife, Mandie that I’ve been married to, for 39 years, my sons, daughters and 4 granddaughters. All on a small holding called, Etz Chayim in Lammermoor. I’m very excited to be involved in a community upliftment project like Yenzokuhle TDG.
